The story
A local developer presented an opportunity to develop eight homes on land he owned. Planning permission was granted by Derbyshire Dales District Council as a rural exception. The Council also helped to fund the development along with the Homes & Communities Agency (now Homes England).
The homes were constructed using high-quality, traditional materials, and enhanced with a detailed landscaping scheme.
Energy-efficient homes
The homes achieved Code for Sustainable Homes Level 4 and benefitted from air-source heat pumps and underfloor heating.
