MRH to deliver rural housing enabling services for Leicestershire

Following a robust procurement process, Midlands Rural Housing have successfully secured a contract to deliver rural housing enabling services across Leicestershire, for the next 12 months.

The Project Delivery and New Business team will work on behalf of the Leicestershire Rural Housing Group (LRHG) with a focus on identifying land that could be brought forward as rural exception sites in villages across the county.

Rural communities will also be engaged to determine the number of local people in housing need through housing needs assessments, and evidence will be used to inform and influence the LRHG as to where affordable housing is needed the most.
