This powers our operations and generates ideas that have helped us become one of the leading housing service providers in the UK.

David Frederickson, Chair

David was employed by the Church of England in Sheffield as a community worker for fifteen years. As a Sheffield city councillor he chaired the Housing Management Committee, administering the city’s extensive housing stock. He is currently chairman of Youlgrave Community Land Trust which, in partnership with Peak District Rural HA, has built eight affordable houses for local need in the village.

Bradley Swingler

Bradley is a Chartered Building Surveyor based in Northampton. He previously worked for South Northants Homes for four years delivering the Decent Homes Standard to 2900 homes. Bradley is a strong believer in affordable housing and has seen first hand how it can help to develop and promote communities.

Reg Ward

Reg is Chair of Leicestershire Rural Housing Association. He joined the Board with the aim of improving the provision of rural housing. He is retired and recently stepped down as a Councillor at Hinckley and Bosworth Borough Council. Reg considers his role as assisting in engaging with communities, and considers the key issues facing the Association are the funding and burden of central bureaucracy which he feels impedes good quality delivery of services.

Derek Harvey - BA, CPFA, DMS

Derek was a Director of Finance and Deputy Chief Executive in the NHS for many years. He ran his own consultancy business for over 20 years providing financial managerial advice to a broad range of organisations. He was a Governor of South Warwickshire College for 12 years where he was Chairman of the Finance Committee and Chairman of Governors. He was CE of Mid-Warwickshire Mencap for nearly 10 years. He is also a Director of Warwickshire Rural Community Council and a member of Vital Villages and Warwickshire Rural Housing Association.

As Executive Director - Business Support, Joanne is responsible for governance, communications, corporate policy, continuous improvement, diversity, customer information services, co-regulation and promoting tenant scrutiny. Joanne also takes a lead role in pursuing non-development business opportunities. Past roles include district housing manager. Joanne is a member of the Chartered Institute of Housing.
