This powers our operations and generates ideas that have helped us become one of the leading housing service providers in the UK.
David Frederickson, Chair
David was employed by the Church of England in Sheffield as a community worker for fifteen years. As a Sheffield city councillor he chaired the Housing Management Committee, administering the city’s extensive housing stock. He is currently chairman of Youlgrave Community Land Trust which, in partnership with Peak District Rural HA, has built eight affordable houses for local need in the village.
Richard is a Chartered Engineer and Chartered Environmentalist. Before semi-retiring in 2009 he was Operations Director of a specialist environmental and remediation services company for seven years, directing several major environmental investigations and contamination risk assessments within housing estates built on former industrial sites. Since 2009 he has worked as an independent Project Management Consultant, and is a Parish Councillor.
Chris Lambert BA (Hons)
Head of housing at North West Leicestershire District Council, Chris has worked in local government since the early 1990s. He supports the business objectives of the organisation and represents Leicestershire Rural Housing Association. He is also Secretary of the East Midlands Branch of the Chartered Institute of Housing.
Bradley is a Chartered Building Surveyor based in Northampton. He previously worked for South Northants Homes for four years delivering the Decent Homes Standard to 2900 homes. Bradley is a strong believer in affordable housing and has seen first hand how it can help to develop and promote communities.
Joanne Tilley, emh group Executive Director - Business Support
As Executive Director - Business Support, Joanne is responsible for governance, communications, corporate policy, continuous improvement, diversity, customer information services, co-regulation and promoting tenant scrutiny. Joanne also takes a lead role in pursuing non-development business opportunities. Past roles include district housing manager. Joanne is a member of the Chartered Institute of Housing.
