Rural Housing Week approaches
With only a week to go until Rural Housing Week 2019, Midlands Rural Housing’s plans for a week of celebration are being finalised.
Rural Housing Week takes place from 1st to 5th July and provides an excellent opportunity to shine a spotlight on successful developments which offer a lifeline to local people in local villages. The aim of the Week is to reinforce the message that housing is vital for the survival of rural communities and services.
This year the theme is Building for Rural Communities to celebrate the contribution of rural housing associations, such as NRHA, in building more quality, affordable homes and improving communities.
We will be hosting a tour of four new development sites for members of the NRHA Board, as well as showing how affordable homes are making a big difference to rural villages across Northamptonshire. WRHA will be hosting events at two of its newest development sites, as well as showing how affordable homes are making a big difference to rural villages across Warwickshire. Staff will be promoting rural housing at Conferences and event and showcasing the work we do.
